Con esta afirmación que traduce una denuncia, Pedro Pablo Prada, embajador de Cuba en la Argentina dejó inaugurado el IV Seminario sobre Oportunidades de Negocios de Cuba en la Argentina, evento que presidió de manera conjunta con su homólogo, el embajador de la Argentina en La Habana, Luis Ilarregui, ambos enlazados por plataforma virtual con más de medio centenar de empresarios de ambas naciones que participaron en esta cita comercial.
En sus palabras de apertura, el diplomático cubano ubicó el evento en el escenario del brutal bloqueo que ha mantiene ferreamente la administración estadounidense contra la isla caribeña: “Este el escenario que argentinos y cubanos hemos decidido desafiar. Somos dos pueblos que si de algo nos preciamos es de la capacidad humana de saber levantarnos- enfatizó el diplomático-
“Este evento es un acto de desafío y rebeldía frente a las acciones del bloqueo que violan el derecho al libre comercio , a la libre relación entre los países de los pueblos- remarcó Prada Quintero al destacar la trascendencia del encuentro comercial “para fortalecer las estrechas relaciones comerciales que existen entre ambos países, cuyo monto supera los 300 millones de dólares anual, básicamente de exportaciones argentinas de alimentos para elaborar a su vez alimentos de uso animal y humano para los cubanos.
Destacó lo creativo del mecanismo de fideicomiso que funciona entre ambas economías, «de medicinas por alimentos, que permite atender las restricciones con el uso de divisas internacionales en el comercio y potenciar la sociabilidad, las alianzas y la complementación económica».
Por su parte, el embajador argentino Luis Ilarregui, destacó que desde 1983, » la Argentina con el retorno de la democracia, viene colaborando con Cuba en la lucha contra el bloqueo económico que sufre el pueblo de la isla.
Ilaguirre resaltó que hoy, con el gobierno del Frente de Todos que preside Alberto Fernández, “se está recuperando esa relación intangible con Cuba; y puso de relieve y ejemplo el reciente viaje realizado por la asesora del gobierno nacional Cecilia Nicolini, y la ministra de Salud Karla Vizzotti, para poner en valor dos, de las cinco vacunas logradas por científicos los cubanos. En tal sentido el embajador afirmó que se busca una vez aprobadas las vacunas por el organismo regulador- ANMAT- comenzar a ponerlas en valor .Sostuvo que para ello se cuenta con la voluntad política del gobierno argentino que se extiende a todas las formas de alianzas estratégicas que puedan acordarse con la Isla.
El Seminario de Oportunidades de Negocios había comenzado con palabras de Juan Salvador Amato, presidente de Cámara Pyme organizadora del evento junto con la Cámara de Comercio de Cuba cuyo vicepresidente Rubén Ramos, hizo una amplia exposición sobre las intenciones y posibilidades de inversiones en Cuba para desarrollar producciones en medicamentos y otros. Funcionarios de la Cancillería Argentina también participaron y esbozaron los objetivos que han detectado y con las que se trabaja en la bolsa comercial cubana.
El evento dedicó un homenaje a Jorge Risquet, diplomático cubano recientemente fallecido, quien contribuyó desde sus inicios con el fomento de las relaciones de la Cámara Pyme Argentina con el empresariado cubano.
