Finalizó una nueva edición de Cuba en Argentina 2019
El encuentro comercial que se celebró por espacio de dos días en el Hotel Castelar de la Capital Federal, levantó altas expectativas entre el empresariado argentino que participó en la Ronda de Negocios, donde los cubanos expusieron su potencial de variados productos y servicios exportables, que ya no se limitan al ron, el tabaco y el café; sino que abarcan los resultados de la biotecnología, el inmunoensayo, la sanidad agropecuarios, los servicios médicos, y la producción pesquera, que tuvo en este caso su mejor muestra con la degustación de langostas traídas de la Isla.
Argentina se encuentra entre los 15 primeros países en materia de intercambio comercial con Cuba y entre los 5 primeros en la región de América Latina. El comercio bilateral entre Cuba y Argentina supera los 250 millones de dólares y se desarrolla básicamente a partir de exportaciones de materias primas para la producción de alimento animal y para el consumo humano.
Cuba por su parte, exporta a la Argentina productos de la biotecnología, crustáceos, ron embotellado, y tabaco torcido, pero este evento que por tercer año consecutivo se realiza organizado por la Embajada de Cuba, la Cámara de comercio de Cuba y la Cámara Pyme Argentina, ha reafirmado la postura cubana de reforzar la relación, ampliar los vínculos y alcanzar mayor equilibrio en las importaciones y exportaciones.
La isla caribeña- bloqueada económica y financieramente desde hace más de medio siglo por Estados Unidos -, no se rinde, por el contrario, sigue abriéndose camino por países como la Argentina, al que lo une una entrañable amistad. La facilidad del Fideicomiso, por citar un ejemplo, permite a Cuba el intercambio de medicamentos por alimentos, logrando con ello aliviar las penurias que ocasiona el criminal bloqueo.
En noviembre próximo se celebrará en La Habana la Feria Internacional de La Habana (FIHAV 2019), oportunidad en la que la Cámara Pyme montará un stand en el que empresarios argentinos, fundamentalmente del rubro alimentario que la Isla tiene en el foco de sus prioridades, mostrarán sus productos potenciales y firmarán cartas de intención de negocios ventajosos para ambas partes.
